Bozeman's streaks continue in Kalispell By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor Bozeman continued its domination of the big schools in Montana, winning Class AA titles in Kalispell at Rebecca Farm on Saturday. RESULTS The Bozeman girls, despite strong competition from Billings Senior, won their 10th straight state title (47-62). And the Hawks boys, led be a record-breaking 3-mile effort from individual winner Chase Equall (14:40.8) won for the ninth straight year. Not everything held to form. Much like the Mountain West Classic a few weeks back, Annie Hill of Glacier faltered over the final mile against a withering pace by Billings Senior's Tiahna Vladic. Vladic saved anther gear for the late stages of the race and finished in 16:40.8. Hill, a junior who won the AA titles in 20014 and 2015, finished seventh in 17:36.7. "I felt like if I could push the second and third mile it would be a good race,” Vladic told the Daily Inter Lake. Equall junior Duncan Hamilton (15:00.1) both ran 3-mile PRs to go 1-2 for Bozeman as the Hawks scored 30 points and put four runners in the top six.
